Your student's first (and very important!) step is to and establish an account. FlashLine is a virtual hub of information that your student will use throughout their time at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ.

To log in for the first time, your student will go to  and follow the instructions to create an account. After establishing their account, your student will need to save their FlashLine credentials somewhere safe.

Returning users should log in to FlashLine directly at .

KSUview

You must have a KSUview account if you would like to view your student’s financial aid, personal information, registration and student account information. Your student will need to set up your KSUview account for parent or family member access.

KSUview provides a safe and easy way for your student to identify you as a designee and grant you permission to view selected student information​​​ such as financial aid, personal information (address, phone and email), registration (status and schedule) and student account information (detail, summary, tax notification and holds). For a parent or family member to be added as a designee, the following steps must be completed by the student:

• Under "Student," select "Resources."
• Under "Resources," select "Requests and Authorizations."
• The webpage will be displayed; double click on "KSUview."
• Choose "Add Designee" and fill in the fields for First Name, Last Name and Email Address for the person you’re giving access to; click "Add Designee."
• Click on "Expand (designee name)". In the "Profile" tab, complete the information requested for your designee. On the "Authorization" tab, select the items you’d like your designee to view online.

The enrollment fee reserves your student’s place in the incoming class.

To pay the enrollment fee online, . Follow the payment instructions.

The enrollment fee is refundable until Dec. 1 for incoming spring students and May 1 for incoming fall students. You can request a refund by contacting your student's admissions counselor or emailing us at admissions@kent.edu.

Be sure to follow these important dates for financial aid, on-campus housing and new student orientation, called Destination ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ (DKS). These include:

New First-Year Students Entering in the Fall 2025 Semester

• December 2024 – The 2025-26  opens.
• Feb. 1, 2025 â€“ On-campus housing application opens. 
• Feb. 1, 2025 â€“ Student orientation called Destination ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ (DKS) registration opens.
• Feb. 15, 2025 – Deadline to submit the  to receive maximum scholarships and the best financial aid offer.
• May 1, 2025 â€“ Priority deadline to to confirm your student's place in the freshman class.
• TBD – Residence hall move-in begins.
• Aug. 14-17, 2025 – KSU Kickoff begins.
• Aug. 18, 2025 â€“ Fall classes begin.

New First-Year Students Entering in the Spring 2025 Semester

• December 2024 – The 2025-26  opens.
• Oct. 15, 2024 â€“ Student orientation called Destination ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ (DKS) registration opens.
• Oct. 15, 2024 â€“ On-campus housing application opens.
• Jan. 12, 2025 – Residence hall move-in begins.
• Jan. 13, 2025 â€“ Spring classes begin.

The 2025-26  will open in December 2024. This is one of the most important applications of your student's college career. To receive the best financial offer from ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ, Fall 2025 semester students must submit the FAFSA by Feb. 15, 2025. Be sure to add our FAFSA code: 003051.

ScholarshipUniverse is your student's hub for finding and applying for scholarships. It is a search portal that will match them to internal and external scholarships. Be sure your student checks their deadlines, as each scholarship may have a different one.

Your student can apply to live in one of our 20+ residence halls and several Living-Learning Programs (programs where students with similar interests live together) beginning Oct. 15 for incoming spring students and Feb. 1 for incoming fall students.

If your student plans to commute, they will need to submit the commuter exemption form.

Your student's college journey at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ begins at student orientation – Destination ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ (DKS)! They can register for their preferred DKS date in the .

At orientation, your student will register for classes, connect with campus and get their Flashcard – their student ID. Parents, family and guests are encouraged to attend as well!

Registration opens Oct. 15 for incoming spring students and Feb. 1 for incoming fall students.

It is very important that your student completes the steps on this checklist so they will be able to register for classes at DKS. Make sure your student has:

1. Completed the placement assessments at least three days before attending DKS. These will be available in .
2. Submitted their final high school transcripts and scores.
   1. This includes AP/IB scores and college transcripts for any college courses completed during high school. You will submit this information to the Admissions Office.
3. Reviewed class scheduling timelines to ensure that they get the classes they are most interested in.
4. Reviewed tuition payment options. Access this information with your student on the Financial, Billing and Enrollment Center website.
