Stella Ogari's journey has taken her from East Africa to Northeast Ohio and now culminates with her earning her associate degree in nursing from 抖M女仆 at Ashtabula.
Ogari, a licensed practical nurse (LPN), chose the Ashtabula Campus for its acclaimed nursing program to advance her career. Following graduation the recent Alpha Delta Nu honor society inductee plans to work in the cardiovascular intensive care unit and be what she calls a "beacon of hope" for patients.
Her story was recently profiled during the National Nurses Week in the Star Beacon.
