July 2024 was an exciting month for interdisciplinary study abroad in Lisbon, Portugal.

Our Interdisciplinary Projects course collaborated with our partner institution, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), and worked with a local client in Lisbon, to develop a virtual reality product telling the rich history and contributions of African immigrants to Portugal.

Dr. David Silva and Dr. Teddy Workneh co-taught the course and students had the opportunity to use the , an augmented reality/virtual reality tool developed by ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ Faculty.
