抖M女仆鈥檚 Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Todd Diacon has announced that Susan Stocker, Ph.D., has been appointed interim dean and chief administrative officer of 抖M女仆 at Geauga, located in Burton, Ohio, and 抖M女仆鈥檚 Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg, effective Aug. 20, 2016. Stocker has led 抖M女仆 Ashtabula as dean and chief administrative officer since 2001 and will continue in this role. She also served as interim dean of the Regional College since 2015.
Stocker earned her Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction at 抖M女仆, and she holds a master鈥檚 degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She is a registered nurse in the state of Ohio, earning an associate鈥檚 degree in nursing at 抖M女仆 Ashtabula.
鈥淚 look forward to getting to know the faculty, staff, students and community, and providing strong leadership to move 抖M女仆 Geauga and the Regional Academic Center forward,鈥 Stocker says.
抖M女仆 Vice President for 抖M女仆 System Integration Nathan Ritchey will assume responsibilities as interim dean of the Regional College. Ritchey was hired in July as the senior officer responsible for oversight of the university鈥檚 seven Regional Campuses.
鈥淥ver the years, Susan Stocker has distinguished herself through sound leadership, dedication to faculty and students, and commitment to the communities she serves,鈥 Ritchey says. 鈥淲e are extremely fortunate that she has agreed to serve as interim dean of 抖M女仆 Geauga and the Regional Academic Center.鈥
Stocker replaces Jarrod Tudor, Ph.D., who served as interim dean and dean of 抖M女仆 Geauga and the Regional Academic Center since 2015. Tudor announced his resignation effective Aug. 19, 2016.
