Saxophonist Bobby Selvaggio, 抖M女仆's Director of Jazz Studies as well as an alumnus, continues to help invigorate Northeast Ohio's thriving Jazz scene. Earlier this year, he recorded his 11th album, Re:Invented, as leader live at one of Cleveland's premier performance venues, the Bop Stop. The album, to be released Oct. 4 by Dot Time Records, has deep 抖M女仆 connections, with several KSU faculty and alumni performing. In addition to performing, Bobby wrote and arranged most of the music on the album.
Throughout August, Bobby has had a busy performance schedule, playing venues from Akron and Cleveland to Pittsburght and Philadelphia. He also recently spoke on "JimJim's Reinvention Revolution Podcast" about Jazz in Northeast Ohio, building 抖M女仆's innovative Jazz Studies program and his latest recording project.
