The 抖M女仆 Golden Flashes family was marking milestones and making memories at Homecoming 2022, held Saturday, Oct. 1. 抖M女仆 alumni, students, parents, employees and community members donned their blue-and-gold gear and reunited for one of the university鈥檚 long-standing traditions.
It鈥檚 time to wear blue and gold as the 抖M女仆 Golden Flashes family reunites for Homecoming 2022. 抖M女仆 will celebrate Homecoming with activities and events leading up to the Oct. 1 Homecoming Parade and Homecoming football game.
Presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jon Meacham, whose knowledge of politics, history, religion and current affairs makes him one of America鈥檚 most prominent public intellectuals, will appear the evening of May 4 for 抖M女仆鈥檚 Presidential Speaker Series. Meacham will bring his unique perspective and provide historical context to the issues and events impacting our daily lives when he speaks about civil discourse at the Kent Student Center Ballroom.
During National Autism Acceptance Month, 抖M女仆 will hold a film screening of 鈥淟oving Lampposts: Living Autistic鈥 at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. 鈥淟oving Lampposts鈥 is a documentary by Todd Drezner, a father of a now 13-year-old boy with autism, that explores the changing world of autism and learns the truth of the saying 鈥渋f you鈥檝e met one autistic person, you鈥檝e met one autistic person.鈥
The School of Fashion announces the return of its acclaimed in-person Fashion Show, April 28-30, 2022, in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus. The presenting sponsor of the 2022 show is renowned American department store, Dillard鈥檚 Inc. Dillard鈥檚 is a long-time supporter of the School of Fashion, and the Dillard family was inducted into the school鈥檚 Hall of Fame in 2019.
