Kaleigh McGreal arrived at 抖M女仆 not knowing how to sew yet left with a degree in fashion design having interned designing clothing in the heart of the fashion industry both in Florence and in New York City. Her journey from desire to degree shows others what's possible for those willing to take a risk and follow their dreams.

Student Life

  • 抖M女仆's LGBTQ+ Center is celebrating Pride Month by boosting activities statewide, collaborating with local events, hosting a walking group and planning for a fabulous Fall Semester. 

  • In 2020, 抖M女仆 President Todd Diacon announced to a group of high school juniors and their families that 抖M女仆 would cover four years of tuition costs and one year of room and board. Now, for the LeBron James Family Foundation鈥檚 first I PROMISE class, the hard work these students had put in since third grade is paying off. 

  • 抖M女仆's Center for Student Involvement has more than 350 clubs and organizations for students. Dedicated to providing a great experience for all students, the center provides leadership development opportunities that foster student engagement.

Research

  • 抖M女仆 Ph.D. candidates Beau Shaniuk and Dana Oleskiewicz provide a historical context for the transgender experience and discuss the challenges the community faces in light of the increasing number of anti-trans bills being introduced across the country.

  • The environment is something that many people take for granted. But it affects us all. Some recent 抖M女仆 students spent the semester putting environmental issues front and center.

  • Every spring and fall millions of birds migrate through Northeast Ohio on their way to or from their breeding grounds. With their song and bright colors, birds help brighten our campus after a long winter.

  • All eyes have been on Northeast Ohio the past several weeks as the 抖M女仆 and The University of Akron鈥檚 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams battled it out for the MAC championship title. It wasn鈥檛 always such a bitter rivalry between these two Northeast Ohio legends, however. Just look at this old footage we found of Flash and Zippy bonding back in the day.

  • The 抖M女仆 women鈥檚 basketball team will play in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2002. Champions do so much on their own, just look at the stats. But this championship team is supported by its members, its coaches and the 抖M女仆 Community.

  • The Golden Flashes have made it to the NCAA tournament during a moment when women鈥檚 basketball is in the prime spotlight.
