Overseas Exchange
As part of the University’s Study Abroad program, interested Chemistry majors with at least a 3.0 GPA have an opportunity to spend one or two semesters during their junior year at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
With over 8,000 full-time students, the University of Leicester is situated in the center of England, about 100 miles north of London. Students take a range of chemistry courses which can be substituted for their major requirements at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ. Some students also choose to take advantage of course offerings in English history or other aspects of English culture. In addition, students can take advantage of university-led trips to various places in England or travel on their own. A six-day excursion to Rome, Italy, is available in the Spring semester. Students enrolled in this program pay normal ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ tuition.
