Supervisory Foundations is a sequential, 2-part program that will help supervisors successfully navigate market and university expectations for the supervisory role. The session clarifies the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful supervisor in 2024 and beyond. Participants will:
1) identify critical functions and skills needed for 2024 supervisors
2) clarify the role, responsibilities, and accountabilities they now have
3) complete a SWOT analysis for the organization, their team, and themselves

The Bachelor of Science in Geology features an optional Environmental Geology concentration designed to prepare students for impactful careers in the expanding field of environmental geology. This concentration offers specialized training in areas such as water resources, resource management, and energy resources. The curriculum emphasizes key topics including hydrology, hydrogeology, and advanced environmental monitoring techniques.
