Veterans Day Daffodil Planting

The Veterans Day Commemoration pays tribute to all who served and are serving our nation in its armed forces and includes an appreciation lunch for veterans, service members and their guests immediately following the ceremony. We invite our ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ community to join us in planting daffodil bulbs in honor of the U.S. service people killed in Vietnam after the luncheon has concluded. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, Nov. 1. 

 

The new Sensory Wellbeing Space on the Kent Campus.

A space inside ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ's Speech and Hearing Clinic has been renovated to serve as the new Sensory Wellbeing Space, where neurodiverse students and their allies can find a welcoming and inclusive environment for gathering or study. Lisa Audet, Ph.D., assistant professor of Speech Pathology and Audiology and director of the Neurodiversity Research Initiative, and Tina Patel, associate professor of Interior Design in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, conducted the research that guided the renovation of the space, including working with ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ’s community...
