Political Science - Minor
The Political Science minor is for students who have an ongoing interest in politics — at the local, state, national or international level — but whose primary area of study does not allow a second major. Students study the general subject matter of political science and then advance to specialty areas that meet their own interests, needs and plans of study.
Minor in Political Science
Graduates who complete 抖M女仆鈥檚 Minor in Political Science are well-prepared to enhance their careers in a variety of fields related to governance, public policy, and social advocacy. This minor complements degrees in areas such as business, communication, or education, allowing students to pursue roles as legislative aides, campaign coordinators, or public relations specialists. The program provides valuable skills in critical thinking, research, and political analysis, enabling graduates to engage effectively in community organizations, non-profits, and government agencies. Additionally, the minor can serve as a foundation for further studies in law or graduate programs, enriching their understanding of political processes and enhancing their employability in the public and private sectors.
