抖M女仆鈥檚 cultural offerings have a reach far beyond the borders of Ohio. There鈥檚 always something new to experience at the many events held at 抖M女仆, at off-campus locations year-round 鈥媜r virtually. The redesigned Arts & Cultural Experiences page provides an educational and entertaining window into the world of 抖M女仆.
The School of Art Collection and Galleries at 抖M女仆 has opened a new exhibition, the Biennial Faculty Show.
抖M女仆 at Stark鈥檚 Featured Speakers Series and the Stark Library鈥檚 Speaking of Books Author Series are partnering to present iconic Hollywood character actor Danny Trejo, who will speak at the Canton Palace Theatre on March 9.
The 抖M女仆 Press publishes dozens of titles each year, from crime fiction and poetry to history and biographies, all of which make for great holiday gift giving.
鈥淲e鈥檝e had a stellar lineup of titles for 2022, including two books with KSU's Wick Poetry Center: 鈥楧ear Vaccine,鈥 which was featured on the PBS NewsHour, and 鈥楽ister Tongue,鈥 winner of the Wick Poetry Award,鈥 said Julia Wiesenberg, marketing and sales manager for The 抖M女仆 Press.
"Dance '22: Shifting Landscapes" has performances Dec. 2-4 on the Kent Campus.
For a half-century, 抖M女仆 alumnus Tom Batiuk has penned the adventures of the students and staff of the fictional Westview High School, but now, "Funky Winkerbean" is coming to an end. 抖M女仆 Today sat down with Batiuk to talk about his life's journey as a comic strip writer.
Current and former faculty and alumni have featured art pieces in the new exhibit Now and Then: Seven Decades of 抖M女仆 Ceramics. The exhibit focuses on former faculty, notable alumni and a juried selection of alumni from the 70-year history of the 抖M女仆 Ceramics Program.
