Second-year nursing students at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ received white coats in a ceremony marking their transition into the professional sequence of their program.
According to the National Institute for Mental Health, nearly 11 percent of children in the United States aged 5-17 have been diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a common neurodevelopmental disorder that results in difficulties with focused attention, impulsiveness and hyperactivity.
¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ's College of Nursing welcomed students from Cuyahoga Community College to the simulation lab on the Kent Campus for a tour and demonstration.
