Haus of Horrors host welcomes audience to fashion show

Gothic themes and haunted attire embellished the Cartwright Hall Auditorium for the Fabric Pantry鈥檚 Haus of Horrors Fashion Show. The stage was lined with candles, turning it into a spooktacular catwalk for 抖M女仆鈥檚 fashion design students to show off their impressive designs themed around Halloween and the goth aesthetic.

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com have launched a special series spotlighting 50 Hispanic leaders in northern Ohio, with 抖M女仆鈥檚 own Ilianna Velez among them.

抖M女仆 on Friday renewed and expanded its relationship with in Battambang, Cambodia, opening a pathway for Dewey students to obtain a 抖M女仆 degree.

Students coming to 抖M女仆 and, for some of them, living away from home for the first time can struggle with the transition. The transition can even be more difficult for LGBTQ+ students, particularly for those who have recently "come out." Ken Ditlevson, director of 抖M女仆's LGBTQ+ Center, talks about the many resources available at Kent to support them.
