Grubb and other students have found an inclusive, welcoming environment that offers resources for the transgender community, such as the student organization Trans*Fusion and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Center. Transgender students also receive support from ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ’s faculty, staff and administrators.
Three ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ students have created smartphone cases that contain vital medication.
Together, with the help of LaunchNET ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ, the three created Case.MD. Ariella Yager, entrepreneur major in ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ’s College of Business Administration; Samuel Graska, cell and molecular biology major in ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ’s College of Arts and Sciences; and Justin Gleason, graduate student in ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design spent more than a year planning, inventing, designing and 3-D printing smartphone cases that contain vital medication. Wherever your smartphone goes, so does the medication.
