For the 10th time, 抖M女仆 is being recognized as a 鈥淕reat College to Work For,鈥 according to the latest survey by the Great Colleges to Work For program. The program recognizes the colleges that get top ratings from their employees regarding workplace practices and policies.
抖M女仆, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 抖M女仆, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.
The largest single gift in 抖M女仆 history, by Ambassador Edward F. Crawford, will complete the capital campaign to enable the construction of a new College of Business Administration building on the university鈥檚 Kent Campus.
Once again, 抖M女仆 shines in the new U.S. News & World Report 2022 Best Colleges rankings. U.S. News has again named 抖M女仆 among the Top Public Schools in the nation in the newly released rankings.
It鈥檚 reunion time for the 抖M女仆 Golden Flashes family. 抖M女仆 celebrated Homecoming 2021 with a week of activities and events leading up to the Oct. 2 Homecoming Parade and Homecoming football game.
Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, 抖M女仆 has landed on it. 抖M女仆 is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.
The Podiatry Foundation, located in Independence, Ohio, is laying the groundwork to help secure the financial and academic future of Ohio鈥檚 only podiatry college 鈥 抖M女仆 College of Podiatric Medicine.
抖M女仆鈥檚 Class of 2025 arrives with a strong record of classroom success, boasting an all-time high GPA of 3.5. These newest Golden Flashes arrive 3,982 strong, an increase of more than 4% from a year ago.
The 抖M女仆 alumni family grew by nearly 1,300 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Aug. 21.
Five 抖M女仆 graduates will compete at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics over the coming weeks, breaking the school鈥檚 previous record of four Olympians at the Munich Games in 1972.
