��MŮ�� is one of 61 organizations nationwide – and one of four organizations in Ohio – to be awarded a 2021-2022 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read grant. The university’s $20,000 grant will support the Big Read Northeast Ohio, a community reading program and related events focusing on “An American Sunrise” by Poet Laureate Joy Harjo from October 2021 through May 2022.

Thanks to the renewal of its key funding grant, LaunchNET ��M�� will continue to inspire the entrepreneur mindset and support innovative thinkers across the ��M�� community.

Curbside Pickup is ��MŮ�� Libraries’ new contactless service that allows users to check out materials from its collection while libraries on the Kent and Regional campuses remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

What could be better to reduce end-of-semester stress than petting a dog? How about petting multiple dogs and digitally dunking with LeBron through esports? This year’s Stress-Free Zone, which is from 3-5 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 10, will be hosted on the first floor of University Library and will feature esports, therapy dogs, makerspace activities and more.

Following a national search, ��M�� has named alumnus Kenneth Burhanna as the new dean of University Libraries, effective March 1, 2019.
