Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., 抖M女仆's vice president for student affairs, said being appointed to the Executive Committee of the APLU (Association of Public and Land-grant Universities) Council on Student Affairs (CSA) is an honor.

The 抖M女仆 alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.

While colleges across the country have worked to find ways to recruit the next class during the pandemic, 抖M女仆 is being recognized for its unique and innovative techniques to find the class of 2025. In lieu of typical on-campus events, the 抖M女仆 admissions team has traveled across Ohio and hosted 鈥淜SU2U鈥 drive-in presentation experiences for prospective students and families.

抖M女仆鈥檚 College of Business Administration offers one of the nation鈥檚 most outstanding online Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company profiles the college in its Top 50 Online MBA Programs for 2021 ranking.

抖M女仆 has named Margaret (Peggy) Shadduck, Ph.D., of Richardson, Texas, as its new vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. Shadduck was selected following a national search.

抖M女仆 President Todd Diacon recently notified 23 抖M女仆 staff members that they are the 2020 recipients of the President鈥檚 Award of Distinction. The award was created as a recognition program to reward staff members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication to 抖M女仆 in advancing the university鈥檚 strategic priorities and core values.

抖M女仆鈥檚 Giving Tuesday 2020 raised more than $2.2 million to support students as they endeavor to earn their degrees.聽

Despite the economic impact of COVID-19, alumni, friends, faculty and staff came together to raise $2.3 million to support more than 2,300 students.

The 抖M女仆 Board of Trustees ratified the university鈥檚 Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report and Master Recommendations report, which showed an effectiveness and efficiency savings for Fiscal Year 2020 of $31,286,881. The savings is $6.2 million more than originally estimated.
