All this week, "In A Flash" will feature images from the 抖M女仆 group's trip to Rwanda.
抖M女仆 educators and students visited a marketplace that sells goods made by marginalized women. Afterward, they watched a traditional dance troupe perform and were invited to dance with them.
The visitors from 抖M女仆 are in Rwanda attending (held July 11-13), a global peace conference sponsored by 抖M女仆鈥檚 School of Peace and Conflict Studies, 抖M女仆鈥檚 Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education, the and the , a non-profit organization dedicated to ending genocide and other global atrocities.
Bringing together peace and conflict experts and educators from around the world, the conference is another building block in 抖M女仆鈥檚 growing relationship with the University of Rwanda. In May 2022, 抖M女仆鈥檚 Board of Trustees approved 抖M女仆 opening a base of operations at the University of Rwanda for creating collaborative educational exchanges and to serve as a base of operations for 抖M女仆鈥檚 recruitment throughout Africa.
