A group of 22 secondary school teachers from 20 different countries is spending six weeks at 抖M女仆 as part of a Fulbright program of professional development for foreign educators.
Sketching, drawing, doodling. For some, these activities occupy us in class or in a meeting. But for Kizito Nkundamahoro, his artistic hobby evolved into a passion that drew an amazing opportunity at 抖M女仆.
All this week, the 抖M女仆 Kent Campus has offered a full slate of events in its 2023 Education Abroad Showcase, which serves as an introduction to the university鈥檚 education-abroad opportunities across the globe. Hosted by 抖M女仆鈥檚 Office of Global Education, the theme for this week鈥檚 events is 鈥淒iscover Boundless Horizons: Explore, Learn and Thrive Globally!鈥
When she signed up for the Kigali Summer Institute in Rwanda, 抖M女仆 senior Emily Spencer, thought it would be a good training ground for humanitarian work she hopes to perform in the future. When she returned from the three-week course, she felt significantly changed.

抖M女仆 graduate and award-winning photojournalist Matthew Thayer has spent the past 43 years in Hawaii, working as a photojournalist for The Maui News newspaper. When Thayer was sent out to cover horse evacuations from the upcountry fires on Maui on Aug. 8, he never expected he would end up covering one of the worst natural disasters in Hawaii鈥檚 history.
抖M女仆 Paris American Academy will not be open for students for fall 2023, but the program will resume operations in Paris, France, in January 2024. The students who registered for fall 2023 classes at the Paris American Academy can attend the New York City Fashion campus or 抖M女仆 Florence in Italy.
