A father and son, both ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ alumni, graduates of the professional pilot program in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, recently achieved a remarkable milestone. Scott and Kyle Koeppl completed their first flight together as Southwest Airlines pilots.

Tatee Sakr's path to success in the fashion world started at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ. As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.

Fashion design major Kaleigh McGreal has been sharing her story with ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ Today through her final two semesters at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ in our "Year with a Flash" series. Most recently, as she prepared for graduation, McGreal shared her thoughts about her journey with an inspiring message for other ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ students.

In 2020, ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ President Todd Diacon announced to a group of high school juniors and their families that ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ would cover four years of tuition costs and one year of room and board. Now, for the LeBron James Family Foundation’s first I PROMISE class, the hard work these students had put in since third grade is paying off.

As a young refugee, Yun "Mi Mi" Khaing, a recent ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ graduate, has not only overcome significant challenges during her time in the United States, but she’s also helping others in similar circumstances.
