Following an initial two-year period, Molded Fiber Glass (MFG) Chairman Richard Morrison recently returned to the ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ at Ashtabula Campus to announce a two-year renewal of the MFG Foundation Ashtabula County Scholarship program.

The School of Art Collection and Galleries at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ has opened a new exhibition, the Biennial Faculty Show.

Ohio Employee Ownership Center Workshop

A ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ program is helping business owners retire by providing them succession plans to ease the transition in their companies.

¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ at Geauga faculty and staff playing an integral role in developing an occupational health and safety training program for Geauga County businesses are: Lance Williams, director of operations and special projects at ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ Geauga, Sanhita Gupta, Ph.D., associate professor of Biological Sciences, Erin Bailey, Ph.D., associate professor of Biological Sciences, and Angela Spalsbury, Ph.D., dean of the Geauga Campus.

Thanks to a $75,000 grant from Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Susan Harwood Training Grants Program, ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ at Geauga is designing a pilot training program for workers from small businesses in underserved rural communities to help ensure safe and healthy workplaces. As part of the campus’ ongoing commitment to leadership in regional workforce development, the program will be implemented in Geauga County starting in the second quarter of 2023. 

Actor Danny Trejo will speak om March 9, 2023, as part of ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ Stark's Featured Speaker Series.

¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ at Stark’s Featured Speakers Series and the Stark Library’s Speaking of Books Author Series are partnering to present iconic Hollywood character actor Danny Trejo, who will speak at the Canton Palace Theatre on March 9.

Alumnus Charlie Thomas is still going strong as the owner of Ray's Place, which has become a downtown fixture for generations of ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ students.

At ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ’s fall commencement on Dec. 17, 2022, Jaiden Morales earned his bachelor's degree in digital media production, an accomplishment motivated by passion that was ignited at Lorain High School. The ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ program has prepared Morales to succeed his mentor, Joseph Bock, as the multimedia coordinator at the high school where his future began.

In an effort to expand racial and ethnic diversity in the design fields, ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative created Making Our Own Space (MOOS), a design/build program for middle and high school students. The program introduces youth to opportunities in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture.
