The cause of a fire that burned for two days last week at the historic Star of the West mill complex remains undetermined.

On Friday morning, ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ issued an advisory to the community about a fire that erupted at the former Star of the West mill in downtown Kent. Though the smoke is visible from campus, there is no danger on campus as the fire is contained to downtown.
